Can I use these decals on my wall?
- by Darryl Long
One of the most common questions we get asked are if our decals stick to textured walls. Here we have collected four of the most common wall types and their suitability for wall decals.
A light and even texture works great. The decals stick well and remain easy to remove later on, thanks to the small pockets of air in between.
A large rounded soft texture usually works fine, if it only offers enough smooth areas for the decals to stick to.
Strong or sharp texture offers too little surface for the decals to stick, making them peel off with time.
Decals stick best on a completely smooth surface, but keep in mind that they might be slightly harder to remove later on.
A small and even texture is actually one of the best surfaces, as a little bit of air in between the sticker and the wall will make the decal easier to remove later (completely smooth surfaces will result in a stronger bond, making the decals more difficult to remove as time passes).
If you still are unsure, you can always send us a message at hello@benjiandbelle.com Just send us a photo of your wall with a coin or something else as a size reference, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
